Videnie LIVE: Ilhem
A space for deep sonic and sensory immersion.
The space of Videnie becomes a stage for audiovisual performances – from experimental concerts to ambient evenings with conceptual visualizations.
This is a program with international and Bulgarian artists presenting their live projects where sound and image move in sync.
ORPHEUS and VIDENIE invite you to the first edition of the Sound Resurrection series – an audio-sensory experience with internationally acclaimed artist Ilhem, a vocalist, composer, and certified sound therapy practitioner whose work explores the transformative power of the human voice.
Sound Resurrection is a series created as a space for restoring the mind, body, and spirit. It is dedicated to the idea of inner resilience – the ability to slow down, recover, and meet the outside world with greater balance, clarity, and inner strength.
Inspired by the symbolism of the Resurrection flower – a plant known for its ability to “come back to life” even after long periods of drought – Echoes of Eurydice explores themes of resilience, restoration, and the quiet return to oneself.
ORPHEUS sees beauty as a synergy between skincare and mindful rituals for the body and mind.
Ilhem’s musical world blends music and electronic textures into a hypnotic sound journey that invites relaxation, softness, and a deeper connection with oneself.
An evening awaits you in which sound, space, and presence become a ritual of inner return.
Ilhem is a vocalist, composer, and sound artist whose work centers on the voice as a vessel for memory, identity, and transformation. Rooted in jazz and shaped by a multicultural background, she draws inspiration from her long-standing research into the voice across different cultures and musical forms.
Through layered vocals, field recordings, and spatial sound, her compositions move between the personal and the universal, the intimate and the collective. She has performed on stages and at festivals around the world, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Mutek Mexico, and Waking Life.
Her first solo album is due for release in Fall 2026.
