Conditions of Reality

New immersive experience curated by Videnie.

Videnie presents its new exhibition that brings together world-renowned artists and new Bulgarian works in an exploration of reality.

International works EVERYTHING by NOHLAB and In This World by MAOTIK meet three new Bulgarian pieces: Modulà by Studio Phormatik, SYMBOL by Videnie, and Transmitter by Vladzen.

Together they see reality not as something stable and given, but as a process that is constantly being constructed, changed and questioned.

Moving between audiovisual narrative, interactive installation, VR, and mixed reality, the exhibition traces the many ways the world unfolds before us - as system, flow, symbol, signal, and a field of participation.

EVERYTHING

Nohlab ( TR)

/ 360° video mapping projection, spatial sound, 12’00’’ /

Through the eyes of a living being who follows the narrative along with us, we sink into a three-part audio-visual journey where science, philosophy and metaphysics meet. We observe the familiar elements that make up our daily lives and realize how many questions existence itself raises.

While many things remain beyond our perception and thought, accepting the unknown opens us to a world of constant transformation and probability.

In This World

Maotik ( FR)

/ 360° video mapping projection, generative video, 6.1 surround sound, 12’00’’ /

IN THIS WORLD is an immersive installation of light, sound, and moving images exploring how constant connectivity and the accelerated flow of information reshape our perception of reality. Designed as a generative audiovisual environment, the work reflects on how contemporary society is increasingly shaped by algorithms that learn, predict, and influence human behavior.

The installation unfolds in phases, tracing the changing relationship between humans and digital systems. Lines drift, geometries emerge, and image and surround sound immerse the space, evoking a sense of infinity and turning architecture into a living, adaptive organism.

Modulà

Phormatik (BG)

/ 360° projection, interactive installation, spatial sound, 10'00''/

Modula views the conditions of reality as something changeable that arises through the interaction between man and space. It is an interactive floor installation for the great hall at Videnie, in which every movement of visitors activates and changes the visual environment in real time.

Idea and realization: studio Phormatik

Interactive design and art direction: Mihail Iliev

Music and sound design by Stanislav Genadiev

SYMBOL

Videnie ( BG)

/ VR/MR, surround sound, 15'00'' /

The combination of virtual and mixed reality with 3D mapping is one of the goals of Videnie's creative studio, with the work SYMBOL, artists begin to explore the symbolism in human history and the way images shape our inner world. The work opens up a space where the sign is not just something to be read, but a living form of experience, memory and transformation.

The project is based on Alejandro Jodorowsky's books.

Transmitter

Vladzen ( BG)

/ video installation, LED screens, vibroacoustics, 05’58’’ /

Parallel to this, in Videnie LAB, Vladzen's Transmitter opens another direction to the theme of reality, thought of not as a fixed medium, but as a field of signals, impulses and mutual influences. The work places the viewer in a space where the boundary between source and receiver begins to blur, and reality is revealed as something that is constantly being transmitted, captured, amplified and altered.

In the darkness, light and movement destabilize the eye, as the line between the seen, the felt, and the imagined dissolves. The work reveals reality as something constantly perceived, reshaped, and experienced through the senses.
